Director Vikram Sirikonda's Telugu movie Touch Chesi Chudu (Choodu/TCC) starring Ravi Teja, Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor has received mixed reviews and average ratings from the audiences.

Story: Karthikeya (Ravi Teja), an industrialist who lives in Pondicherry falls in love with Pushpa ( Raashi Khanna) and wants to marry her. But, she rejects him after few encounters due to his loose tongue. As time progresses, she changes opinion and starts liking him. In the meantime, Karthikeya confronts with local goon Selvam. Due to family responsibilities he keeps a low profile. His original flashback opens in Hyderabad where he was an ACP who bashes miscreants.

Analysis: Touch Chesi Chudu has an interesting story and an engaging screenplay. The first half of the movie is high on family sentiments, and some comedy and romance scenes keep you entertained. The second half is high on the action quotient and some twists and turns keep you thrilled in this portion.

Interval twist is highly predictable. Once the story opens at Hyderabad, as flashback, it runs at a better pace. At this juncture, for 50 minutes, back to back mass elements may appeal to mass audience. In a scene in which Karthikeya rescuing DGP’s daughter, Mass Maharaj Raviteja was in his elements. Another scene where old city riots are obstructed by police has also been executed well.

Performances: Ravi Teja has delivered an electrifying performance and his action and comic timing are the highlights of Touch Chesi Chudu. Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor impress you with their glamour and chemistry with the mass maharaja.

Suhasini Maniratnam, Murali Sharma, Satyam Rajesh, Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore and Freddy Daruwala have done justice to their roles.

Technical: Touch Chesi Chudu has decent production values. JAM8's songs, Mani Sharma's background score, picturisation, some brilliant action and dance choreography and punchy dialogues are the attractions on the technical front.

 What is the film Touch Chesi Chudu about?

  Karthik (Ravi Teja) leads a peaceful life in Pondicherry looking for a potential wife. During the same time murder of an activist happens which is witnessed by his sister. What happens when the killer takes Karthik back to his past life as Karthikeya, the very hot-headed cop and how he terminates the problem is what the movie is all about? 

How is Ravi Teja’s performance? 

There is nothing new to add when we talk about the performance of Ravi Teja except for mentioning the fact that he is energy personified. There is never a dull note in his act. Does the content let him down, well that happens most of the time, but the actor always shines, and Touch Chesi Choodu is another example. He looks a bit aged in this movie though unlike his last one.
